MUMFEST excitement builds with the arrival of the
Corvette Racing Tour

MUMFEST is a two-day extravaganza, filling New Bern’s historic downtown with world-class entertainment, wonderful food and great shopping. From the waterfront at Union Point Park to the gardens at Tryon Palace – MUMFEST is an award-winning special event like no other.
The Joe Alcoke Auto Group, title sponsor, brings a major automotive exhibit to MUMFEST every year, and this year Alcoke has a special treat for racecar fans. “We are proud to bring the Corvette Racing Tour to MUMFEST and look forward to participating in all the excitement this exhibit generates,” said Joe Alcoke.
The Corvette Racing Tour features the 2010 Corvette C6R ALMS show car, Victory Lane Photos, artifacts from Corvette’s storied racing history and a number of championship trophies. Also on display will be the No. 3 GT2 Compuware Corvette show car, a Corvette ZR1 interactive cutaway chassis, and a replica 2010 C6.R race engine.
At the Winner’s Circle Photo Trailer, racecar fans may have a digital photo taken in front of a green screen with the virtual images of their favorite championship-winning Corvette Racing drivers – for free!
Other MUMFEST entertainment includes a major concert sponsored by Bigfish FM featuring Kutless, the Sidewalk Prophets, and Above the Golden State. Gravity-defying athletes (including Olympic medallists) are back with the King BMX and Flippenout Extreme Trampoline shows.
The 9th Annual Boat Show, magicians and street performers, amusement rides and much more all go together to make MUMFEST great fun for everyone.
